Blacknest Forest School – Learning while having fun!

The joys of Forest School continue. Small groups come to discover the wonders of the woodland and the importance of taking care of all the natural habitats. 

Mini Ecologist course – 4 Saturdays in September – aims to deepen awareness of our eco system and the importance of taking care of our bugs, bees, trees and the soil we depend on. We plan to run this programme again later in the year to develop skills of Eco warriors.

A second home schooling group is starting Wednesday 30 September – please register.

Half term 26 – 30 October. some days fully booked but a waiting list exists. Mondays-Thursdays £36/child/day
Friday £27/child/shorter day suitable for children aged between 5 and 7.

If your school has other half term dates, tell me and we can arrange a day of Forest School activities.

Children must not attend if any household member has symptoms of Covid-19.

Children will be outside throughout the day – considered a much safer environment.

Numbers will be restricted to 12 children

Hand washing and sanitising will be enforced throughout the day.


Leave A329 at Bluebell’s Restaurant- Go 300 yds and turn LEFT DIRECTLY OPPOSITE the ENTRANCE to GREAT PARK through the gates onto a private drive and almost immediately (see sign) turn right onto a track leading to Blacknest Woodland Log Cabin.
