Week 1 of a 4 week series for young ecologists.  The aim is to deepen awareness of our eco systems, what bugs, bees and mammals are in trouble and what we can do about it. We need to train up eco-warriors to look after (conserve) the natural world.

Looking after the woodland and learning to do more to create good habitats is a passion of Tina Carter, who will be leading these 4 weeks.  Lets look at the biodiversity in the woods and what we can do to improve matters.  We hope your child will come home full of ideas for bird boxes, bug hotels, planting trees and bee-friendly plants in your garden.

There will be plenty of time for climbing, exploring, skill building and other innovative play for adventurous children, which are a key feature of Forest School.

Suitable for children 5-9 years (younger only by arrangement)

We encourage children to attend all four Saturdays to become fully engaged in becoming an Eco warrior.

We will continue to stay outside which is a safer environment and we will do hand sanitising regularly while not allowing any sharing of food or drink.  We want to keep this a COVID free place.

Children must not attend if any household member has symptoms that suggest Covid-19
